Kim Myers Robertson
Kim Myers Robertson's inquisitive eye, cinematic approach and discerning point-of-view have drawn the attention of some of the best know American and Global brands in the world, including American Vogue, Marie Claire, Moet, Covergirl, Glamour and Clinique.
Kim has always followed fashion. When she was told she would have to attend Michigan State, at seventeen years old, she dropped everything and bravely moved to Paris on her own to study at The Paris Fashion Institute. She then shifted to New York where she studied at FIT while working for Scavullo, later attending Parsons and SVA.
Kim began shooting for Marie Claire in 1995 and soon followed with a string of major advertising campaigns. Realizing the need for video as seen through the eyes of a seasoned fashion photographer she formed Studio Ava in 2008 with Tony Floyd. Since then, Studio Ava has created powerful spots for such Ad agencies as Grey, BBDO and companies such as Clinique, Sundance and D&G fragrances. Kim is based in New York with her family.
